Lasertech manufacturers of Printer Cartridges and suppliers of Office Products, have just added two new Franchisees to their network of approaching 100 franchise territories, which are a mixture of Company and Franchise owned businesses, in the UK, Ireland and Spain. South East Ireland, and South Fylde are the brand new territories and have both opted for the operator franchise Alan Brennan South East Ireland previously worked as a supply chain manager for a multi National company in Waterford.

After being offered a redundancy package he decided to take it, as the future of manufacturing in Ireland was every uncertain. Alan didn’t want to work 9 to 5 office hours any longer and he has always fancied working for himself, so started to look at franchising. Alan Explains, I saw the Lasertech Franchise Opportunity as the perfect solution, I wanted to invest my redundancy money in a business for my future, I will never have to worry about being made redundant again. I have started my franchise as an operator, but my ambitions are achieve an annual turnover of 500k, by year 5, and then in year 6 change to the management option, get a larger territory, start employing staff and adding more vans to the business, Steven Rabbish South Fylde previously worked as the Head Chef at the St Ives Hotel in St Annes on Sea, decided the time had come to get out of catering and to use his knowledge of computers to help him run his own business. Steven Explains, I know this is a complete career change, but that it what I needed. I am used to long hours and lots of hard work, but at least with my own business I will be able to see the benefits from it. Steven and Alan both attended a two week residential training course held at a local hotel to Lasertechs Head Office in Warrington. The course is run by Paul Brewer and Mike Astbury, Lasertech Business Development managers. The training covers all aspects of running their franchise from product, sales and software training, to visiting potential customers together. At the end of the two weeks, both Alan and Steven were ready to start running their own Lasertech Franchise, with security and backing of Head Office.
