BB's Coffee & Muffins Goes on the Road with the ‘Mothership'

BB's Coffee & Muffins ‘Mothership' has landed in Ireland - a one of a kind roving BB's café which delivers BB's vast array of freshly baked muffins, steaming hot beverages and their wide variety of freshly baked breads filled with your favourite fillings to your favourite sporting event, concerts and festivals across Ireland. 

BB's has invested €300,000 in this new state-of-the-art food truck.  The unit is capable of serving large volumes of people with quality products, baked and prepared fresh on site each day and has a fully fitted juice and smoothie bar serving freshly squeezed juices and smoothies.  BB's are constantly looking to expand their business opportunities while delivering quality products to their customers.  This unique food truck is the latest innovation in BB's expanding enterprise business.

The inspiration for developing a full service BB's Mobile Café came from David O' Connor, General Manager, BB's Coffee and Muffins.  "Having been to a number of sporting events, concerts and festivals over the years, I wanted to be able to go one place where I knew that the quality and freshness would be there.  I didn't want to have to go to three or four stalls to find exactly what I was looking for."

The BB's Mothership had its inaugural run at Cois Fharraige in Co. Clare last year and was an instant success.  "As you might remember it wasn't a particularly sunny weekend, we had rain and wind pretty much throughout," commented Yvonne Neeson, Marketing Manager, BB's Coffee & Muffins Ireland.  "We couldn't believe how busy we were and we were delighted by the reception and comments from customers at the event," added Ms. Neeson. 

At the end of last year, BB's ‘Mothership' also served thousands of Munster fans at Thomond Park.  The Mothership was such a huge success with event goers that now BB's Coffee & Muffins are serving their products throughout Thomond Park at standalone kiosks as well as outside the Park as supporters flood in to the venue. "The buzz at Thomond Park at sporting events is incredible, it's great to be able to serve keen sports fans both inside the park at our kiosks as well as outside as they queue in anticipation to enter the ground," commented Ms. Neeson.

In 2009 the ‘Mothership' is available to cater any event across Ireland.  The ‘Mothership' is the latest innovation of Irish owned BB's Coffee & Muffins who have over 180 company owned and franchised locations across Ireland and the United Kingdom.  Since opening their first store in Ireland in 1999, BB's Coffee & Muffins has now become the second largest Shopping Centre Café operator in Ireland and the UK serving over 50,000 customers a day.
