The Esquires Coffee Houses - expands new menu offer:

Irelands Esquires Coffee has just completed a review of its menu and is piloting some new changes. Tony McVerry, MD of Esquires says that "Today our customers are looking for more choice; preferably food prepared and baked on site and of course menu items that represent good value in today's tougher times" With this in mind, Esquires researched what customers were looking for in addition to the extensive menu that was already on offer. 

The research showed that customers liked the idea of our existing policy to bake wherever possible our own Scones, Muffins and Cookies on site and to extend this further with a main course option available throughout the day.

In a number of our stores, we already do a range of hot dishes but we have now decided to introduce a range of Freshly Baked Pizzas. Naturally, we make our own dough and all ingredients for the Pizzas are of the freshest quality.  A range of 9 Pizzas are available and customers can choose from the likes of the traditional Margherita with our own freshly prepared tomato sauce, Vegetarian options or our Deluxe which is proving very popular and includes goat's cheese, sundried tomatoes and olives.

Wedges and garlic pizza bread also form part of the new look menu. To compliment this extended hot food range, we have decided to introduce a range of wines which our customers felt particularly during holiday times and weekends that they would like  to have this offer rather than having to go in to the pub particularly if they were with their children. As such, we are offering our customers a choice of over 10 wines which can be purchased by the bottle at very competitive prices or each wine can be sold by the glass.

This pilot programme commenced in our recently opened store in Carrick on Shannon just over a month ago and is proving very successful. We would hope to extend this concept to a number of our other stores over the next few months and in time for the summer tourist season.
