Irish Franchise Association is the representative body of franchisors in
Ireland,
North and South, and promotes the development of business-format
franchising. It provides information on the franchise sector through
its website, newsletters, seminars, exhibitions, and its annual
franchise awards promote excellence. Business-format franchising - in business for yourself but not by
yourself - is now a popular method of starting your own business and

It gives the
franchisee a licence to replicate an existing business using a trade
