Recently opened 4HOME Superstores franchise in Gorey, Co. Wexford will be run as a franchise operation by Wexford Farmers Co-op. The move is the first step into franchising outlets for 4HOME as part of their rapid expansion programme that has seen the Gropu open six new stores nationwide in the past 12 months. This brings the total 4HOME store number to 11 and a further store opens next month in Ballincollig which cements the group's position as the fastest growing chain in the DIY sector. We have always said that a key part of our growth plans is to take on the franchise model and create the first fully-fledged DIY/Homewares offering in this sector of the market.
