Over 50 REMAX offices nationwide are offering potential buyers the choice of 100s of properties at reduced prices. Speaking at the launch of the initiative, Michael Cahill, operations manager, REMAX Ireland said, We have seen vendors across Ireland reduce their prices on an individual basis over the past couple of months.
However, we are hoping that this united approach to the sale process will give the property market the kick start it needs and turn things around. The launch of our property sale can only mean even better news for the consumers, buyers and sellers alike, and we hope will also help our network of offices and agents to accelerate their business across Ireland.
We felt it important to do something to highlight to people that property is still a viable source of investment and hope that initiatives like the one being introduced today can only help to drive the market in the right direction," he concluded. REMAX has 80 offices and 300 sales associates across the 32 counties and is the largest estate agency in the North of Ireland with 18 offices and 132 affiliates.
In June of 2007, RE/MAX announced that it would expand operations across Ireland to 140 offices over the next two years. In Northern Ireland RE/MAX has recruited 132 people since 2005. Another 100 positions in 16 new offices will be created by 2009.
