Castle Countrywide Property Letting and Management Franchises! -It's a brave company who would launch a new franchise in the current economic climate in Ireland, but an ever braver company that would launch a property franchise. Yet that is exactly what my client is doing. Having originally established in Ireland 12 years ago as a branch of a UK-based franchise called Castle Estates, providing property lettings and management, they are re-launching the business under the name Castle Countrywide.

We've been working together on the project for the last 12 months having completed a root and branch review. The six existing franchisees remain in the network and their offices are currently being re-branded. Not much of a gamble, really, considering that property lettings and management is truly a recession-proof business. Everyone needs somewhere to live. First-time buyers are struggling to get on the property ladder and Buy-to-Let investment has fuelled demand for lettings services. People choosing or being forced to rent is a reality today. If Castle Countrywide's business was busy in a boom, it can be even busier in a downturn.
