The popular Irish-owned chain of American-themed diners is set to open a host of new Diners in the coming weeks. News Diners set to be officially launched shortly are as follows,

Citywest Shopping Centre, Dublin - official launch Friday 1 November.
Bridgewater Shopping Centre, Arklow, Co. Wicklow - official launch Friday 9 November.
Charlestown Shopping Centre, Finglas, Dublin - official launch Friday 16 November.

Plus the first ever City Diner is set to open in Wales! This new Welsh diner is opening in Swansea at the end of October 2007 with the official launch scheduled for Friday 23 November. Other new diners in the pipeline are as follows,  Walkinstown, Dublin and Navan, Co. Meath. Eddie Rockets diners are a sure-fire success story and 2007/2008 will see a major expansion of the brand nationwide.
To date there are 33 City Diners nationwide, 1 outlet in the UK and 1 concept outlet in Cork called Dine-O-Mat. The brand was founded by Niall Fortune in 1989, who opened his very first diner in South Anne Street, Dublin 2.

Since then the brand has taken on a life of its own & become one of Irelands most impressive business success stories. The diners are still owned/operated by Niall and many others owned/managed by Franchisees. All new outlets will be designed in Eddie Rockets signature style, red-leather dining booths, individual table-jukeboxes and state of the art neon lights which all combine to create an authentic American-style dining experience. When asked to comment on the new diner, Jonathan Parkhill (Group Operations Director) said, Were busy opening outlets due to unprecedented customer demand. We've chosen areas which are bustling and vibrant and ideal for our new diners. We are expanding the brand to bring the Eddie Rockets experience to customers nationwide.
